Newspaper Advertising

Photoshop & InDesign. A 1/4 page newspaper/periodical ad for a local bicycle shop. A dynamic background image was created in Photoshop to attract the reader's attention and to set off the heavy text the client has provided. A basic blue background creates a dynamic contrast against the bright and vibrant colors of the main graphic and the text. The most interesting aspect of the piece is the variation in the background images, which leads the viewers eye to the main graphic and the 'sales event' announcement and provides a more impactful messaging.
