Chimera

Photoshop. A fantasy comic book style illustration depicting a reinterpretation of the Greek monster Chimera. This Chimera is now more humanoid and instead of having the goat head on the back, it is now placed on the chest. This piece involved three stages in Photoshop, first a basic linework of the character is drawn in the comic book style. Then, using the airbrush and the pen tool, the image is more refined with monochromatic detail work and shading. The final stage is the layering of colors and textures for the main image and the background.
