Lotus

Photoshop & Illustrator. In the spirit of Hokusai's prints and Japanese design, this piece was an exercise in creating an image that has complex layers and elements and yet has a sense of minimalism and simplicity. With the image of the female goddess as the focal point, the challenge was to have all the other elements to seem to flow out of or lead into her direction.
